Since the development of the Janus wood stove, the stoves have been produced in-house by Janco de Jong. First in Oldeberkoop, and later in 1996 the production was moved to Gorredijk. In 2002, demand for Janus wood stoves was so great that the space in Gorredijk was too small to meet the substantially increased production demand. The company had a choice: expand or find other production options. In order to keep an optimal price quality ratio for the stoves, the decision was made to move the production to Poland, first temporarily and then permanently. Investment has been made in the construction of a modern production location where all is built in-house and is run by a Dutch-Polish management team. The location has, among other things, 2 CNC hydraulic press brakes, two welding robots, a fully automatic jet stream installation, painting streets and assembly lines.  The high tech machinery combined with the craftsmanship of skilled and highly motivated professionals in the Polish factory makes it possible to easily meet the high demand for affordable stoves of a consistent high quality.
