JAcobus® Cook
A good wood-burning stove gives off so much heat that it seems a shame to use it purely for heating your home, which is why we have now developed a special cooking stove – a wonderful asset in any open kitchen setting!

Cooking, baking and frying
The cooking stove allows you to enjoy cooking the old-fashioned way on a new version of the well-known JAcobus wood-burning stove, and as such the JAcobus has been specially fitted with three stainless steel cooking plates plus an extra protective rim around the stove. You can even mount the JAstoof, an oven, onto the stove pipe, allowing you to also bake in addition to cooking and frying!

Combustion system
The heart of the JAcobus Cook has the same combustion chamber as the JAcobus wood-burning stove (same high-quality combustion system as the JAcobus ‘standard’ model). The JAcobus combustion system developed by Janco de Jong in 2008 has been patented. The special combustion system provides a number of unique features:

  • Excellent efficiency (>80%) Very clean burning
  • CO emission (<800mg/Nm3)
  • Low emission of particulates (<40mg/Nm3)
  • Very user-friendly thanks to one-button operation

This means that the JAcobus Cook complies with the strictest requirements in Europe, including the ECOdesign standard.

Versions
The JAcobus cooking stove is also available in three different output capacities – from the compact JAcobus 6 to the large JAcobus 12. You may already be aware of the advantages of the JAcobus: a timeless design, a unique, durable burning system that ensures extremely high efficiency and optimal combustion, the ease of use thanks to the one-button operation and the lifetime warranty on steel components, welding and latches & hinges.

The JAcobus cooking stoves can be connected (exhaust vents) either from above or the rear. If you choose the first option, 2 of the 3 cooking plates will remain available for use.
